When the two pickups collided on Monday morning at the intersection of Coral Road and Union Road, Marengo Fire officials say a male victim was ejected into a nearby field when one of the vehicles rolled over.
The male victim suffered critical injuries and was airlifted to Javon Bea Hospital–Riverside in Rockford.
Another person in the overturned pickup and the teenage driver of the second pickup truck suffered minor injuries and were taken to local hospitals.
