(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – One person suffered non-life-threatening injuries after they were shot Friday during a funeral in Maywood.
Police say a "family dispute" led to the shooting, which occurred at the Rock of Ages Baptist Church in the 1300 block of West Madison Street.
Officers say they were on the scene and attempting to defuse the argument when an offender pulled out a gun and shot the victim.
Two people are in custody. An investigation continues, police said.
