Two floors high up the former John Hancock Center are getting new life.

The Signature Room at 95th shut its doors in 2023, citing "economic reasons." Both floors have been vacant since.

360 Chicago, which runs an observation deck on the 94th floor, bought the two floors months after the restaurant and bar abruptly closed.

The observation deck will expand to the 95th floor, becoming Chicago's first multi-story observation deck.

The 96th floor will become a premier event space for weddings, corporate events and other gatherings.

Features include a grand staircase connecting all three floors.

The new spaces are expected to open to the public in 2027.
