
(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Three people, two men and a boy, were shot overnight in the Austin neighborhood and police say they’re not helping to solve the crime.
The shooting happened at about Midnight near Chicago Avenue and Lavergne. The tree were walking on a sidewalk when they were shot.
A 24-year-old man was shot in the chest and was transported to Mt. Sinai hospital in critical condition. A 22-year-old man was shot in the foot and was also taken to Mt Sinai.
He was in good condition. A 14-year-old boy had a graze wound to his leg and was taken to West Suburban Medical Center.
He was also in good condition. Police said they were uncooperative and refused to answer questions.
No one is in custody and detectives are investigating.
