A Chicago man has been charged with attempted murder for a shooting last month in West Woodlawn.

Chicago police and US marshals with the Great Lakes Fugitive Task Force arrested Nicholas Killingsworth Wednesday in Calumet City.

The 23-year-old is accused of walking up to a man near 60th and King Drive and shooting him the afternoon of August 20th.

Police say the 23-year-old victim went to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the groin and a graze wound in good condition.

The man’s family says the pair had some kind of argument over social media before the shooting.
