(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A woman from south suburban Crete is facing charges in a fatal crash last month.
Letisha Tovar, 58 has now been charged with Felony Aggravated Driving Under the Influence Causing Great Bodily Harm, stemming from a fatal crash that happened November 14th on Interstate 394 at Steger Road.
Illinois State Police say that a red ford had struck a deer and drove into the ditch. Tovar, driving a silver jeep, is accused of striking the red ford. The driver of the ford transported to a nearby hospital where they were pronounced dead.
Tovar has been released from the Cook County Jail on a personal recognizance bond while awaiting her next court date.
