Woman found burned to death in south suburban alley: Police

RIVERDALE (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Riverdale Police are asking for help from the public as they try to identify a woman whose body was found in an alley last weekend.

The woman had been stabbed to death and her body was set on fire.
Police have not said exactly where her body was found. Firefighters made the discovery at about 3 a.m. on Saturday.

Police posted pictures of a watch she was wearing on their Facebook page.
They said there's a large tattoo on her upper right arm of praying hands wrapped with a rosary, and the word, "faith," written underneath. They believe she’s Black or Latina.
