(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A woman is in critical condition after Chicago police say she was shot inside her home in Rogers Park Sunday morning.
A 50-year-old woman was inside her residence when police say she was shot by an intruder just before 9 a.m. Chicago.
Police say a male suspect broke into her home in the city's Rogers Park neighborhood near Marshfield Avenue and Jonquil Terrace and opened fire.
The 50-year-old was shot multiple times. She was taken to the hospital.
Police are investigating and no arrests have been made at this time.
