St Jude Children’s Research Hospital was founded to find cures for catastrophic diseases, including cancer, sickle cell disease, HIV/AIDS, etc.
St. Jude’s hospital protocol is used at local area hospitals, which includes numerous Michigan families. St. Jude is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatment not covered by insurance and no child is ever denied treatment because of the family’s inability to pay.
