About Jake:
I opened a mic for the first time at Lindenwood University in 2018 and made it my mission to broadcast in my hometown of St. Louis. While making the radio dream come true, I also produce podcasts, record and perform music, and broadcast on Twitch. Will happily debate anything Marvel, DC, Star Wars, or anything geek culture, and will do it on a hike if the weather's nice enough.
What Fans Love
Still a young face voice in the radio game, I'm hoping to make the impression with my listeners that I'm just another dude in the human experience. I want to be honest about my thoughts, find the humor in the humorless, and be an agent of positivity. I'm no different than anyone without a platform to speak, so hopefully my listeners feel friendship when listening to me instead of just another talking head. Talking voice? Is that redundant?
Community Cause
I was born and raised in St. Louis, so if there's anything I can do for the town I Iove and the people who live here, I want to make that happen. Mental health awareness is very important to me. I will always be the friend for those who need one, and I hope everyone can do the same. I never forget where I come from and have spent lots of time giving back to St. Charles Borromeo Parish and my high school alma mater Francis Howell Central (go Spartans!).
Fun Fact
Jenna Fischer from "The Office" visited my class once. I was only in third grade and didn't know who she was, but I'll brag about it anyway.
I've also never worked for an insurance company.
