Julie Tristan is on Y98 from 1p-4p Monday thru Friday. She's also the morning show host on 102.5 KEZK's "Julie & Friends" from 6am-10am. She's a producer & narrator for HEC Media's Emmy Award Winning TV show "Spotlight STL" which airs on KPLR 11, Sundays at 9:30am. She does freelance videography/editing with her production company "8 Dogs Video".
Julie is an Emmy Award Winning multimedia journalist who has over two decades of experience as a professional photographer, writer and editor, working in both television and radio.
Julie is a newlywed who recently married her "Hot & Sexy Firefighter" & has 2 step children. She is Captain of Team Red at Guns N' Hoses for 3 years in a row! She's an emcee every year at PrideFest. She's also an animal advocate, having adopted 14 rescue dogs (not all at the same time). She currently has 2 senior rescue dogs.
She was named the "Philanthropist of the Year" and is a Board Member for CARE STL, Stray Rescue of St. Louis & Santa's Helpers Inc. Julie is also one of the most requested emcees in town for local charities.
She grew up in St. Louis & went to Pattonville & Mizzou (J-School) M-I-Z
