Elaine Hendrix and Lisa Ann Walter, stars of “The Parent Trap,” reunited to recreate an iconic scene from their classic 1998 film.

The Disney classic starred Lindsay Lohan as a pair of twins separated at birth, each raised by one of their biological parents, who meet each other for the first time a decade later at summer camp. After realizing that they are related, the sisters come up with a plan to bring their family back together.
Hendrix played the 26-year-old fiancée of their father, Nick (played by Dennis Quaid), while Walter played their housekeeper, Chessy.
The late actress Natasha Richardson played the twins' mother Elizabeth James.
In the iconic scene that Hendrix and Walter recreated, Meredith arrogantly rings a bell for Chessy to come to serve her.
“Chessy?” Hendrix said while in character as she rang a silver bell. “It’s such a big house and all. Chessy!” Walter, as Chessy, then comes on camera and sighs, “You rang?”
Hendrix first posted the video to her TikTok while also sharing the footage on her official Instagram page. Since posting on TikTok, the video has received over 5.5 million views and over 1.1 million likes.
While Hendrix and Walter reunited recently, the film's director teased a reunion back in May of 2020.
Nancy Meyers, who directed the 1998 movie, posted a throwback picture of herself and Lindsay Lohan on set.
She captioned the photo, “I have some #ParentTrap news to share next week. #ItsGoingToBeFun. (Not a sequel. Sorry!)”
Lohan, who played Hallie Parker and Annie James, retweeted a news article on Meyer’s announcement.
“We’re shaking,” one fan wrote below Lohan’s tweet.
“Oh my God!!! I would die!!” another fan tweeted.
