NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a suspect who punched a 72-year-old man in a random attack on an Upper East Side street last month, authorities said.
The NYPD released a photo of the suspect Friday as the search for him continued.
The assault happened at approximately 6:20 a.m. on Monday, November 28, in the vicinity of Third Avenue and East 81st Street, the NYPD said.
According to officials, the victim was walking on the sidewalk when the suspect punched him in the chest in an unprovoked attack.
The victim refused medical attention.
The suspect fled in an unknown direction.
