Man repeatedly shot on Brooklyn street; gunman flees in vehicle

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching a gunman who shot a person on a Brooklyn street last month, authorities said.

Just after 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, a 25-year-old male was walking in front of 1176 Nostrand Ave. in Prospect Lefferts Gardens when he was approached by an unknown individual.

According to police, the suspect displayed a firearm and discharged it at the victim, striking him twice to the left leg.

The suspect fled the location westbound on Fenimore Street in a gray four-door sedan.

EMS transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County in stable condition.
