
Residents of Grand Prairie, be on the lookout!
A highly venomous West African Banded Forest Cobra escaped its enclosure Tuesday afternoon and is on the loose in Grand Prairie. The snake escaped from its home on the 1800 block of Cherry Street near I-30.
Grand Prairie police and animal services warn anyone who comes in contact with the cobra to avoid it at all costs as it is poisonous and dangerous.
Anyone who has come into contact is asked to contact 911 or Animal Services at 972-237-8575.
