With Christmas only a few days away, most probably have their plans for the holiday already set. However, for those last minute planners; their procrastination may finally pay off. The iconic home from ‘A Christmas Story’ was recently made available for overnight stays on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
The 1983 holiday classic ‘A Christmas Story’ is a favorite for many this time of year. Now, those people will have the chance to live out their Christmas fantasies in the actual house from the film. Holiday bookings for the Christmas Story House & Museum requires a minimum two-night stay, which costs $3,995 per night. Up to six guests can book the home that features replicas of the Parker’s bedrooms.
According to Fox News, the home is filled with props and posters from the Christmas movie, including the Red Ryder BB Gun. Luckily for those that can’t quite make it for Christmas, the home is also available for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. For fans of ‘A Christmas Story’ this may be the perfect holiday destination.
