In order to address the severe lack of watchmakers in the U.S., Rolex has opened a new watchmaking school in Dallas.
According to Fortune, around 50 students are currently enrolled at the Watchmaking Training Center. 23 Rolex students started in the program in September 2024, and another 27 starting training one year later.
Upon completion of the program, students must take a final exam in Geneva. If they pass, students become certified Rolex watchmakers and could earn on average $95,000 a year.
