It's been a tough week for little Jaycee Amick.

Since we last caught up with her she's started a new round of chemotherapy aimed at blasting the cancer that's attacking her brain and her spine.

We're just a few days away from her 13th birthday and even though she gets wiped out easily, we've been able to help light up that little smile of hers. The flood of birthday cards coming in certainly helps. Watch the video on this page for an update with Jaycee and her mom.

Just yesterday the mailman delivered a second wave of surprise birthday cards that are being sent in by strangers all over the world.
Just look at all of that love pouring in.

Birthday cards for Jaycee

We were able to deliver news of a couple of other surprises coming to Jaycee and her mother. The first is a 55" television donated by our friends at Voss TV and Appliance. The second comes from our other friends at MediConnect:

MediConnect President Brian Briesinger is setting up a meal delivery to take some of the household burden off of the family.  We also can't forget Dale Kleiner and his company, Swimming Pool Discounters. They came through and put a deck on Jaycee's swimming pool so that she can actually use it safely.

Amazing acts of kindness from amazing people who truly care. There's a lot more to come. Stay with us while we support Jaycee and her journey.
