NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- One person was killed and three others were injured when scaffolding from a Murray Hill building collapsed Thursday.
Emergency personnel remained on the scene ensuring no additional people were trapped.
"Due to a scaffolding collapse at 136 E. 36 Street, please avoid the area of E 36 St between Lexington Ave and 3rd Ave in Manhattan," the NYPD tweeted.
The incident remains under investigation.
Earlier, there were two wall collapses at a vacant four-story building in Murray Hill just a few blocks away.
