7 injured on Grand Central Parkway overpass after bus, car collide in Queens

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A collision between a bus and a vehicle left seven people injured in Queens Christmas morning.Police say the crash occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m. on the Grand Central Parkway overpass at 164th Street in the Jamaica Hills section.The collision caused the bus to jump the sidewalk and then crash into a fence, officials sayA light pole was also knocked down in the crash.All seven victims were transported to area hospitals and where they were treated for none life-threatening injuries.Officials closed down 164th Street between Grand Central Parkway Service Road West and Grand Central Parkway Service Road East.
