NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is on the hunt for a man who attempted to sexually assault a 36-year-old woman in a Brooklyn lot on Sunday.
The attempted rape took place around 9:21 a.m. near Hinsdale Street and Liberty Avenue.
"An unidentified male grabbed a 36-year-old female victim and brought into a lot nearby," police said in a statement. "The individual then attempted to sexually assault the victim. The victim resisted and the individual fled in an unknown direction."
The suspect is described as a black man, approximately 30 years old, 5'7", 300 lbs; with short black hair; last seen wearing a "NIKE" white and black sports jacket, white t-shirt, dark-colored shorts, black sneakers and seen holding an umbrella.
