Police release video of a suspect who vandalized SI synagogue

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- NYPD released video footage of a suspect who they say vandalized a synagogue in Staten Island last week. 

Police are searching for a person approached the Yeshiva Zichron Paltiel School, located at 278 Harold Street, just after midnight on May 29, and spray painted the letters, S, O, S in black spray paint. 


The suspect fled on Wellbrook Avenue towards Portage Avenue.

He is described as a white male, and was last seen wearing a hoodie and shorts with a dark stripe on the side.Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-8477.
