NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police arrested a Staten Island lawyer in the middle of international drug-smuggling investigation officials said on Friday.
Michael Don, who runs his law practice from his home, was busted on Wednesday for hiding several firearms, including two assault rifles, and a stockpile of pills in his Annadale home according to authorities.
An AK-47 and AR-15 rifles, three pistols, and 1,000 pills of Tapentadol, a highly-addictive opioid were found at Don's home, investigators said.
Don faces multiple drug and weapons possession charges.
He was held on a $50,000 bail at his arraignment Thursday.
