NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – The city is issuing a Snow Alert starting Sunday evening ahead of a storm that will bring a wintry mix to the Tri-State.
The Snow Alert goes into effect at 6 p.m. before the store arrives Sunday night, when snow will mix with ice and rain into Monday morning.

February 16, 2019 AccuWeather says a coating to an inch of accumulation is possible in the city and surrounding areas, with higher elevations in the Hudson Valley possibly seeing 1 to 3 inches of the white stuff.
