NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for a woman they say threw a glass bottle and yelled a racial slur at a jogger in Queens.
The 37-year-old jogger was near 53rd Place and Broadway in Woodside on the afternoon of Aug. 17 when another woman hurled a glass bottle at her and yelled a racial slur, police said.
Sources told the Daily News that the white woman yelled "go back to Africa" at the Black jogger and also used the n-word.
Police said the suspect continued to yell at the jogger, who wasn't injured and jogged away.
The attack is being investigated by the NYPD Hate Crime Task Force.
