NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 23-year-old woman was stabbed in the torso multiple times Friday afternoon at a Brooklyn subway station by a woman, after getting into a verbal altercation with her and a man, the NYPD said.

The incident happened at the Utica Avenue station in Crown Heights around 3 p.m.

The male suspect, 43, was taken into custody; video posted to the Citizen App showed police cuffing him outside the station.

The female suspect fled the scene and is still on the loose. She was last seen wearing cheetah print leggings and has dreadlocks with blonde tips.

The victim was rushed to Kings County Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police recovered a knife at the scene.

The MTA tweeted, "There are delays and service changes on 2/3/4/5/6 trains while NYPD conducts an investigation at Utica Av: Utica Av is being bypassed by 3 and 4 trains in both directions. 4 trains are ending at either Bowling Green or Franklin Av. ... 5 trains are running on the 2 line (making all local stops) from Atlantic Barclays to Franklin Av. ... Northbound 3 and 4 trains are stopping at Crown Heights-Utica Av. Southbound trains continue to bypass the station."
