SAYREVILLE, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- Four men were arrested after a student was attacked outside a New Jersey high school on Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
According to police, prior to the attack, the teen had an argument outside of Sayreville High School with another student who is a family member or associate of the four adults.
At around 2:15 p.m., bystanders recorded an adult pulling a knife and beating the victim on Washington Road, officials said.
Officials arrested two men in nearby Kennedy Park.
About two hours later, police arrested two other men — one of whom was in possession of a knife.
The victim suffered minor injuries but was not stabbed, authorities said.
Christoper Torres, 24, of Staten Island, was charged with aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit assault.
Christopher Forlenza, 25, of Brooklyn, and Jeremiah DiMedici, 19, of Staten Island, were both charged with assault and conspiracy to commit assault.
Police also arrested David Martinez, 27, of Staten Island with possession of metal knuckles.
A brief shelter in place at Sayreville High School was placed then lifted.
