
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – One person was in custody after a police-involved shooting at a housing complex in Brooklyn on Tuesday night, the NYPD said.
No one was injured in the shooting near Park and Throop avenues at the Sumner Houses in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 9:15 p.m.
The NYPD told WABC that officers were on patrol near the housing complex when they came upon two gunmen shooting at each other.
According to the Daily News, at least one of the gunmen fired at police.
Police returned fire and eventually took one person into custody, according to the report.
No one was struck by bullets, but two officers were taken to a hospital, reportedly for tinnitus.

A person believed to be a second suspect remained at large, according to the report.
