
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An 18-year-old man was fatally shot overnight in the Bronx and investigators are searching for the responsible party, police said Sunday.
Juan J Pena was shot at around 1:25 a.m. at the intersection of East Tremont Avenue and Park Avenue in the Tremont section, officials said.
Officers found Pena with multiple gunshot wounds about the body.
EMS transported him to Saint Barnabas Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, authorities said.
Pena lived on Monroe Avenue, just over half a mile away from where he was killed.
There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
