NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two men were injured after being shot while sitting in a car in the Bronx Saturday night.
The shooting occurred in front of 1425 University Avenue in Mt. Eden just after 8 p.m., when a gunman came up to the victims vehicle on foot and shot into it while it was parked, police said.
The two victims—a 25-year-old and a 28-year-old—suffered injuries. The 25-year-old had gunshot wounds in his wrist, thigh and ankle and was taken to Lincoln Hospital. The 28-year-old was shot in his wrist, leg and shoulder and walked into BronxCare Hospital for treatment, authorities said.
Both of the men are expected to make a full recovery.
Police are still investigating what led to the ambush and the shooter remained at large on Sunday.
