NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for two men sought in connection with the shooting death of a 21-year-old man in Harlem over the weekend.
According to police, just before 7 p.m., on Sunday, June 27, the victim was on the southwest corner of West 136 Street and Lenox Avenue when he was approached by the two unidentified men sought for questioning.
One suspect brandished a handgun and fired multiple times, striking the victim, Keyshawn Cureton in his back, neck, and left ankle, officials said.
The suspects then fled on foot, the NYPD said.
EMS transported Cureton to Harlem Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Officials released photos of the wanted men late Monday night in the vicinity of West 136 Street and Lenox Avenue before the incident.
