NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is investigating after two men were shot and injured in Harlem Wednesday evening near the memorial of a 16-year-old boy who was fatally shot last week.
It happened just before 7:40 p.m. in the vicinity of 116th Street and Fifth Avenue, officials said.
A 27-year-old man was shot twice in the torso and a 24-year-old man was shot in the arm, according to police.
Both victims were taken to area hospitals in stable condition.
Police beleve the victims were targeted. No information on the gunman has been released.
An investigation is ongoing.
