NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Three people are wanted for stealing thousands of dollars in cash and jewelry from two Brooklyn homes in a matter of two days, authorities said.

The first incident happened on Sept. 1 around 8:50 p.m. when the three men broke into a home at 12th Avenue and 71st Street in Dyker Heights, according to police.

Two of the men got into the house by breaking a basement window while the third waited outside as a lookout. The pair stole about $3,000 in cash and about about $8,000 in jewelry, officials said.

The next day, the men allegedly struck again in the same neighborhood, this time at 67th Street and 13th Avenue around 9:30 p.m.

Again, two of the men broke in through the basement while the other waited outside. This time, they stole about $700 in jewelry, cops said.

In each incident, the thieves fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV. No one was home during both burglaries and no injuries reported.
