NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Wednesday released footage of three suspects sought in connection to the shooting death of a 16-year-old girl earlier this month in Queens.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 16-year-old Claudia Quaatey was sitting in an SUV in front of the Jackie Robinson School located at 121-14 Lucas Street in St. Albans when the three suspects discharged a firearm, fatally striking the teen.

The suspects then fled the location on foot heading westbound on 122nd Avenue.

Claudia died after she "suffered a severe brain injury and was placed on life support," her aunt, Benita Bortey, said in a GoFundMe page, which aims to cover the teen's funeral, medical and other costs.

"Claudia fought for her life with her loved ones by her side, hoping and praying for a miracle," Bortey said in the fundraiser, "Claudia unfortunately succumbed to her injury."
