NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two men and two women surrendered to police on Friday in connection to a caught-on-camera attack on a man who police said was beaten, slashed, and stripped in broad daylight in Chinatown last week.
Police said at 11:30 a.m. on Jan 22, the 26-year-old victim was assaulted and robbed by a group of 12 men and women at Canal and Allen streets after having just gotten off a bus.
The alleged attackers are three family members and one of their friends, according to officials.
They were identified by authorities as 20-year-old Jahi Nimmons, 36-year-old Tiffany Nimmons, 32-year-old Tyriek Nimmons and 27-year-old Tymantha Richardson.
They each face charges of robbery and gang assault, officials said.
Police sources told the New York Post that the victim was an alleged gangmember affiliated with the Mac Baller Brims gang from Brooklyn and targeted by the grouping in relation for allegedly robbing their relative at gunpoint during a bus ride from Atlanta to New York City.
