
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Two armed robbers entered a Bronx establishment on Tuesday and made off with $100,000 worth of jewelry; a day later, police released media depicting the suspects to aid their investigation.
At about 6:54 p.m., a 54-year-old employee was inside a commercial establishment near 8 East Fordham Road when he was approached by two strangers, officials said.
The suspects flashed guns at the victim before demanding property, and after removing $100,000 worth of jewelry, they fled the location on foot.
The victim did not sustain any injuries in the incident.
Police describe both suspects as men with medium builds.
The first suspect was last seen wearing all black, including a black face mask, while the second suspect was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black face mask, white sneakers and gray pants.
