NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD on Wednesday released surveillance footage of a duo sought in connection with an armed robbery at a Bronx bodega last Saturday.
Police said the two unidentified men entered the 3rd Avenue Claremont Village bodega at 12:33 a.m. brandishing their handguns while demanding cash and items from the store's clerk and two patrons.
The robbers fled the bodega in a dark color 4-door sedan with $150 in Newport cigarettes, $1,545 cash and an ID, authorities said.
Store video released shows the men entering, drawing their weapons with customers inside and escaping with stolen items.
The NYPD said no shots were fired and no one was injured.
