NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An employee was among two people shot inside a Brooklyn bodega on Sunday night, authorities said.
According to police, just before 8:30 p.m., a gunman opened fire inside the Awesome Food Corp. supermarket located on Glenwood Road near East 105th Street in Canarsie.
A 22-year-old man bodega employee was shot in the right ankle and a 23-year-old woman was shot in the stomach, offcials said.
Both victims were taken to Brookdale University Hospital in stable condition.
The gunman fled in a blue sedan after the shooting, cops said.
There have been no arrests made and it is unclear whether either of the victims knew the gunman.
An investigation remains ongoing.
