NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released footage of a suspect they said punched a Bronx pet shop employee during a robbery last month, authorities said.
The robbery happened at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, when the suspect entered a Pet Stop located at 920 Teller Avenue in Concourse Village, officials said.

According to police, the suspect went behind the counter and began to punch a 31-year-old worker, unprovoked, in the face with a closed fist and threw a can of corn towards his chest.
The suspect then stole a bowl of hot food worth $10 and fled on foot northbound on Teller Avenue.
The victim refused medical attention at the scene.
The suspect is described as a man, approximately 25 to 35 years of age, 5'10" tall, 220lbs; medium build and last seen wearing a Navy Yankee t-shirt, camo shorts and blue sandals.
