NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man on a dirt bike was killed when he was struck by a car in a Brooklyn intersection early Thursday morning, police said.
The man, who has not yet been identified, was riding the dirt bike northbound on Schenck Avenue in East New York just after 1:10 a.m. when an Infiniti sedan traveling eastbound on Linden Boulevard hit him, according to police.
Officers responding to a 911 call about the crash found the victim lying in the roadway with severe body trauma.

Police said he was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the Infiniti, a 27-year-old man, remained at the scene and refused medical attention, according to police.
No arrests were made in the crash, police said.
The NYPD told the Daily News that the Infiniti driver had the right of way.
