NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A Staten Island shooting on New Year's Eve left a man dead and the victim's father in custody, police said.
Police said it happened at 1251 Bay St. around 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Joseph Leone Jr., 29, was found with a gunshot wound to his chest on a sidewalk, police said. He was taken to a hospital but was pronounced dead.
His father, Joseph Leone, 57, was arrested and charged with murder, cops said. Paperwork claims the father intentionally shot his son.
Police said the motive for the shooting was still unclear.
