NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — A 20-year-old man was fatally shot multiple times at a Brooklyn playground on Friday night, police said.
According to police, cops responded to a 911 call of shots fired around 6:38 p.m. at St. Andrew's Playground at 1405 Atlantic Avenue in the Crown Heights section of the borough.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.
EMS responded and transported him to Interfaith Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
There are no arrests in regard and the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
The identification of the deceased is pending family notification.
