NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 35-year-old man was fatally shot in the Bronx Saturday night, police said.
Cops responding to a 911 call of a shooting arrived at the scene at the corner of Webster Avenue and East Fordham Road around 7:54 p.m., to find the victim unconscious and unresponsive with two gunshot wounds to the chest, according to the NYPD.
EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
An investigation is ongoing. The victim's identity was not yet made public.
