
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police have taken a person of interest into custody after a man was found stabbed to death inside a Manhattan building Friday morning, authorities said.
Just before 6 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 19, police responded to a 911 call of an aided man inside 560 West 151 St. in Sugar Hill, officials said.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 74-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive with a stab wound to the torso.
EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
The identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.
