New York (1010 WINS) — A Long Island man has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting outside a Central Islip bar early Monday morning.

Ismael Rodriguez-Rosado, 27, allegedly killed German Ramirez, 31, at Mi Nuevo Encanto after the two had gotten into an argument at the Dominican watering hole, Suffolk County police said.

Rodriguez-Rosado, of East Islip, fired several shots Ramirez around 1:05 a.m. before fleeing the scene, police said.

Ramirez, 31, of Bay Shore, was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore where he was pronounced dead. The two had known each other before the incident, police said.

Suffolk County police located the alleged gunman shortly thereafter and charged him with second-degree murder.

Rodriguez-Rosado is currently being held in custody until his arraignment, scheduled for Aug. 3 at First District Court in Central Islip.
