NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man in his 50s was critically injured after he was struck in a hit-and-run in Queens late Tuesday night, authorities said.
It happened before midnight near 101st Avenue and 116th Street in Ozone Park. According to police, the victim was struck by a black SUV traveling eastbound on 101st Avenue that kept going.
The man was found unresponsive on the roadway and was transported to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition.
An investigation remains ongoing.
