
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly dragged a woman and broke her arm during a purse-snatching in SoHo.
The NYPD released an image Friday of the male they’re searching for in the robbery from Aug. 31.
The 54-year-old victim was sitting outside Kenn’s Broome Street Bar at 363 West Broadway around 9:45 p.m. that Saturday when the suspect tried to steal her purse, which was on a chair next to her, police said.
She grabbed the bag and then he dragged her by it, breaking her arm in the process, according to cops.
He ultimately fled on foot with $1,400 worth of personal items, police said.
EMS transported the victim to New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital in stable condition.
