NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 41-year-old man was shot to death on a Brooklyn street in the middle of the afternoon on Thursday, police said.
The victim, identified as Eion Thom, was shot outside a deli on Albemarle Road, near Flatbush Avenue, in Flatbush around 4 p.m.
Responding officers found Thom with a gunshot wound to his back.
He was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said no arrests have been made and that an investigation is ongoing.
Police said Thom was shot by someone he'd been arguing with and they suspect the shooting may have been linked to drugs, the Daily News reported.
