NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man mocked another man for operating a lemonade stand in Little Italy, telling him only “children sell lemonade” before hurling a glass bottle at his face, police said.

The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect Monday as they search for him in the Sept. 16 attack, which happened during the Feast of San Gennaro.

The 29-year-old victim was working the annual festival around 10:50 p.m. when he was approached by his outraged attacker, who chastised him for selling lemonade, calling it a job for “children,” according to police.

The man then grabbed a glass bottle and threw it at the victim, striking him in the face, police said.

The victim suffered multiple lacerations to his face and was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

It’s unclear exactly where the attack happened. The festival took place on Mulberry Street, between Canal and Houston streets, through Sept. 25.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
