NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for at least four people after a man was pushed down a staircase and robbed at a subway station in the Rockaways.
The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspects on Saturday, about two weeks after the man was attacked at the Beach 67th Street station in Arverne on June 1.
Police said the 41-year-old victim was walking down the stairs to leave the station when he was approached by his assailants around 2:30 a.m.
The attackers pushed the man down the stairs and then stole his backpack and wallet, which contained bank cards and $450 in cash, police said.
The victim refused medical attention at the scene.
